Memanfaatkan Microsoft Word 2007 Sebagai Media Pembelajaran Geometri di SMP

With Microsoft Office 2007 we can develop a geometry learning in school.
Microsoft Office 2007 SmartArt Graphic equipped so that students can create different
kinds of graphs. With the SmartArt graphic that we can create different kinds of wake
geometry of dimension 2 or 3 dimensions. With the SmartArt Graphic, we also can do
animation in the wake of this and add different kinds of text for explanation
the picture. In addition, the skills to make wake-up the foundations of geometry by using Microsoft Word 2007 can be developed to make the wake-up more complex geometries, such as wake-up 3-dimensional geometry.
Here are some advantages in the use of Microsoft Word 2007 Geometry learning in school:
a. Use of Microsoft Word 2007 is relatively easy to do by the teacher because
this software almost every computer there is a new generation.
b. Use of Microsoft Word 2007 will add motovasi and pleasure in
geomatri studied.
c. Students can use Microsoft Word 2007 to study the geometry of both
independently or through collaboration.
d. By using Microsoft Word 2007, students can conduct investigations or
investigation of the concepts of geometry.
e. By using Microsoft Word 2007, students can perform activities
problem solving or mathematical problem solving.
f. By using Microsoft Word 2007, students can communicate the results of its
both to teachers and to other friends.

Competency-Based-Curriculum (CBC) or Curriculum 2004, is the curriculum in the world of education in Indonesia which was implemented since 2004 although theresekolahyang started using this curriculum since before adoption. Materially, thiscurriculum is actually no different from the Curriculum 1994, the difference is only in the way students learn in class. In the previous curriculum, students are conditionedto the quarter system. While in this new curriculum, students are conditioned in the semester system. In the past too, the students only learn the content of the subject matter alone, which receives material from the teacher only. In 2004 this curriculum, students are required to actively develop the skills to apply science and technologywithout leaving the cooperation and solidarity, even among students actuallycompete. So here, the teacher only acts as a facilitator, but even so there iseducation that education for all. In activities in the classroom, the students no longeran object, but the subject. And every student activity counts.
The new curriculum, curriculum based competence, have the new characteristics:
1. Foccus on the ballances in development of moral/attitudes, academic competence, skills, arts and sports.
2. Foccus on communication skills through oral and writing language and communication.
3. The distinction of formulating of standard competence.
4. Contextual learning
5. The changing of teacher’s rule that is teacher as a facilitator of learning proccess.

We can examine Numbers Fractions in junior high school mathematics learningthrough two sides of the formal position of Aircraft Numbers in the context ofcurriculum and syllabus, and a review of substantive numbers broke it self. In thedevelopment of curriculum guidelines mentioned in the learning of mathematics thatcan be started with an introduction to the problem that fits the situation. The purpose of learning fractions in school may be mentioned as follows:

No doubt the rapid development of science brings man to the globalization that has tough competition. To that end, in the world of education requires a curriculum that is appropriate in today's era. A discourse these days is developing a competency-based learning curriculum. This curriculum development, sees the need to pay attention to current issues in education, the issues arising in the field, variation of schools, educational personnel, interests and abilities of students, as well as the demands of social development, science and technology.

Following this, there are six basic principles that must be considered in the development of mathematics syllabus based on competencies, namely:
1. learning opportunities for students of all subjects without exception.
2. curriculum is not merely a collection of teaching materials, but may reflect a coherent mathematical activities.
3. mathematics learning requires an understanding of student learning needs, learning readiness and service learning facilities.
4. opportunity for students to learn mathematics actively to build the structure of concepts through knowledge and experience.
5. assessment activities need to improve the quality of learning from time to time.
6. utilization of various learning strategies and methods dynamically and flexibly in accordance with the material, students and the learning context.

There are still many students who have difficulty learning mathematics and even fear. This is because mathematics is considered as a terrible scourge among students. For this reason, it takes the efforts of teachers so that the impression of mathematical subjects into fun for students. The things that need done mathematics teachers to interest students include:
-In teaching mathematics, teachers should understand the characteristics of their students, so that the material submitted readily accepted by students.
-Provide some games related material, so that students feel senag and comfortable in the classroom.
-Teacher gives students the opportunity to argue and play an active role in teaching and learning.
