Waktu 120 menit ternyata tidak cukup untuk membedakan kedudukan Indonesia lawan Malaysia di babak final sepak bola sea games 2011. Ini terbukti dari eksekusi phinalty, Malaysia berhasil menggetarkan gawang Indonesia sebanyak 4 kali dan Indonesia kalah tipis hanya mampu memasukkan bola 3 kali. Tetap saja semangat timnas garuda patut diapresiasi, karena perjuangannya yang sangat keras. meskipun harus gigit jari dihadapan seporter sendiri.
